Demi Lovato kicked off the summer in style as a surprise guest at the opening
night party of The Tryst hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, over the weekend.
The 32-year-old singer made a chic entrance on the red carpet, sporting
shades and jeans, before performing her hit 2015 track "Cool for the Summer"
on the hotel's rooftop.
The party continued with a lively DJ set by Leland.
The event attracted a star-studded crowd, including Jennifer Coolidge, Real
Housewives stars Erika Jayne, Cynthia Bailey, and Sonja Morgan.
Antoni Porowski, Julia Fox, Laverne Cox, Chrishell Stause, Sam Asghari, TS
Madison, Kate del Castillo, Matt Rogers, and Chris Appleton we also in
attendance.
Owned by entrepreneur Tristan Schukraft, The Tryst is a luxury boutique hotel
designed for LGBTQ+ travellers.
Schukraft shared that the hotel is a space where people can "be who you
want to be here without any judgment" and meet like-minded individuals.
He also has plans to open a second location on New York's Fire Island.
Lovato, who performed at the event, emphasised the importance of LGBTQ+
spaces like The Tryst, calling them "essential right now."
